Averaging around three feet, or 90 centimeters, the Pueblan Milksnake is a moderately sized milksnake. Their black snout is usually marked with white speckles. The body is often very brightly colored, with rings of red, white, and black. The white rings sometimes darken to yellow, orange, or even red. These snakes, when the red is bright red or reddish orange, are known as "apricot" or "tangerine" phase Pueblan Milksnakes.
